Dear Prospective Guest:

I am delighted by your interest in Casino in the Park. For more than sixty years, my husband, Bernie Sweeney, and I have worked hard to offer an exceptional venue where gracious ambiance, personalized service and delicious cuisine come together to create an unforgettable event for our guests. We are proud of the reputation we’ve earned through our dedication to uncompromising quality and fair value. That commitment is at the core of our business and what motivates us to not just meet, but exceed our guest’s expectations.

Through the years our customer satisfaction has provided us with the honor and privilege of being of service to guests time and time again. Our repeat and referral business is the foundation upon which we are built. We implicitly understand the trust one puts in having us cater their affair. The Lincoln Association of Jersey City, Hudson Catholic, The Jersey City Police Officers Benevolent Association, Saint Dominic Academy, the public schools, the hospice, future brides, politicians, mayors, friends – for years they’ve turned to us. Always they say it is the years of quality service that keeps them coming back. I truly couldn’t be prouder or more grateful.

I recognize, too, that often it’s our history that first draws people in and then drives them to return. “Ol’ Blue Eyes” himself, Frank Sinatra, hosted his mother's birthday party at the Casino. Former President Bill Clinton, while visiting Former Gov. Jon Corzine, stopped in for a fundraiser. He told me that we had the "cleanest kitchen in America" and even stopped to take pictures with the kitchen staff. That photo is still hanging in the entrance to the kitchen. One of the very first television broadcasts was filmed in front of the fireplace that’s still the centerpiece of our side room.

I could go on, but what it all really comes down to is this - without our customers and guests we would not be where we are today. So, in closing, I thank you for considering Casino in the Park. We’re here to assist you in any way we can and I look forward to making your acquaintance.

Warmest Regards,
Kathleen Strebb
